Snapchat Subscriber Count Feature Allows To Show Subscribers Publicly
According to report, Snapchat (American Multimedia Messaging App) is now allowing Snapchat’s creators to show their subscribers publicly like on other platforms including Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. In other words, like these popular platforms, Snapchat’s creators are also able to show their growing subscribers count publicly. Let’s take have a look at company spokesperson’s statement.
“We have listened to feedback from our creator community and many of them expressed interest in having the option to show that their community on Snapchat is growing,’
Snapchat Company also explained that creators must have their account with public privilege means those creators who are established with public profile, they can take advantage of “Subscribers count” option. Like verified Snapchat “Star” profiles, creator profiles allows Snapchat users to have permanent public profile on the app.
Snapchat’s creator is also allowed to gain insight into their audience and connect with brands. Since, this feature is completely new to Snapchat and the company only allowing recently added creator profiles to the platform to give more insight into their activity including views and engagements rate. It means you can now add your subscribers count to public Snapchat profile.
“Subscriber count” may be or may not be enabled by default even we are not sure. But you can enable/disable this option simply by toggling the “Subscribers Count” option ON or OFF. With “Public Subscribers Count” feature on Snapchat, creators can now show their popularity on Snapchat by showing their subscriber count.
Snapchat subscriber count option will helpful for both the creator and Snapchat because it will be easy to track their growth and attract brand deals with this new feature.
To see the subscriber count of creator’s profile, you have to top on “Snapchat’s creator profile” in order to watch a story to view their profile. Subscriber count will be shown under creator’s profile username.
