Method 1: Re-run the Network Connection Test
Before going for further steps to fix, you can verify the specific error message you are getting with steps below.
Step 1: Open Guide
Step 2: Select “Settings > All Settings > Network > Network Settings” and then select “Test Network Connection” option at right side of “Network Settings”
Step 3: Wait to complete the Network Connection test process. Once done, your Xbox console will connect to Xbox Live. If the issue still persists, then try another method.
Method 2: Power Cycle your console and Network Hardware (Router/MODEM/Gateway)
“Power Cycle” is the process of turning a network equipment and computer Off and then turn it ON again. Power Cycling can also be used to reset Network activity inside a MODEM/Router. To do so, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Unplug the power cable from back of your router/modem/gateway
Step 2: Now, press “Xbox” button to open “Guide”
Step 3: Select “Settings > Restart Console” and select “Yes” to confirm

Step 1: Open “Guide”
Step 2: Select “Settings > All Settings > Network > Network Settings > Detailed Network Statistics”

Step 1: At first, you need to disconnect your Xbox Console and all the associated accessories

Method 8: Change IP Settings and DNS settings on Xbox Live
