Apple with Faxconn Testing Foldable iPhone: Release in 2022

According to report, Apple Company is currently working on Apple Folding phones’ development and it is expected that iPhone 14 will be the first foldable iphone which may come out as early as 2022. For those who are not aware, Samsung- the popular Smartphone maker has its foldable device as “Samsung Galaxy Fold” that supports foldable Dynamic AMOLED, HDR10+ and 4.6 inch cover display, super AMOLED with 720 X 1680 pixels resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Fold” – foldable Smartphone is powered by 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, Octa-Core CPU and Adreno 640 GPU with latest Android Operating System support like Android 9.0 (Pie) or later.

Furthermore, Apple Company is planning to designed & developed and release foldable iPhone. For those who are not aware, the company has already started sending sample of foldable iPhones to its assembly partner “Faxconn” for testing purposes and on that basis, Apple will release its first foldable iPhone in September 2022.

According to “Economic Daily News”, testing for designing & developing foldable iPhone involves evaluating the use of OLED or Micro-LED display technology. Apple Company has asked its assembly partner to perform over 100,000 opening and closing tests and similar tests for laptops require to be open and close between 20,00 and 30,000 times.

Apple Company also stated that Apple foldable iPhone will be folded and unfolded far frequently than laptops. It is also expected that the first Apple’s foldable iPhone will have at least 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and will be available in 2022 with $1,499 in the market.

At the moment, the company is working on foldable iPhone’s development and there is no more information about specification, features, designed and performance model of their upcoming foldable device.
